Thank You {MFTWSC131}

It's time to get sketchy with the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club and sketch 131. Hop over to the MFT Blog to find out how you can play along to win up to $20 to spend at the MFT Boutique.

I flipped the sketch to use the mirror image. It just worked better with the flower I chose from Blooming Roses.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card base then added a layer of Orange Fizz. I used the Chalkboard Frame Builder Die-namics to create the frame from Kraft card stock. I stamped the frame pieces with the wood grain image from Western Backgrounds using white chalk ink, then inked the edges with Kraft Premium Dye Ink before assembling the frame.

I created a shadow box feel by backing the frame with Steel Grey. I used the Distressed Background Blocks to stamp the chicken wire using Steel Blue Premium Dye Ink. Then I used the Rose Bouquet Die-namics to cut out some Smooth White card stock for the flower. I stamped the bloom with Lemon Drop Premium Dye Ink and the new Tangy Orange Premium Dye Ink, and the stem and leaves with Gumdrop Green Premium Dye Ink.

For the sentiment I used the new Pierced Circle Die-namics to cut out the Tangy Orange circle. The sentiment from Sweet Roses was stamped with Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.

Get all the sketchy details by visiting the MFT Blog and the MFT Forum on Splitcoast. Upload your card to the Splitcoast gallery using the keyword on the sketch for a chance to win up to $20 in MFT Money. Have fun!

Here are the supplies I used:

What a fun color combo, Karen, and I love the Distressed Backgrounds behind the rose. Just like it's growing next to an old chicken wire fence. Ü
